My lessons are specific and topic based, with learning revision technique alongside the concepts and then testing what we have learned to knock that knowledge into the long term memory. I’m fun and love the subject and I find that learning through conversations and shared interest is very beneficial.
My experience:
- A grade in Nat 5 music
-highest attaining in the school for music in N5 and Higher
- A grade in higher music
- predicted A grade in Advanced higher music (waiting on results day)
- Runner up in shetlands senior young musician of the year 2025
-WINNER of Shetland’s young musician of the year 2026

Better to start earlier than later, consolidate the knowledge before your other subjects ramp up their workloads

Music listening was never taught as much as I needed it to be in school, and this type of tutoring would have been exactly what I would’ve benefitted.
