Martha Parricelli

Hi! I'm Martha, a student currently studying English Literature at The university of Edinburgh. I achieved a grade 9 in English Language and Literature at GCSE Level, and an A* in English Literature at A-Level. I am excited to help you achieve your English Language goals in a positive, non-judgemental and supportive environment. I will approach these lessons with flexibility and fun! I will do my best to create lessons that are both engaging and also tailored to your specific needs. Whether this be practising past questions, going over some language basics or consolidating grammar through exercises, I am sure that together we can get your English Language where you want it to be! As a student, I am able to offer both weekly and weekend tutoring sessions and have the flexibility to adapt to your busy schedules. Having been in tutoring sessions myself, I can understand how with a lack of engaging activities can result in a slightly boring lesson, so I will do my best to avoid this! Whilst I am new to the tutoring scene, my lesson format will look something like this; the first fifteen minutes we will go over what you are currently learning and anything you are struggling with, followed by 45 minutes of active revision and learning - such as practise questions, exercises and mini quizzes.
