Hi, I'm Martha - a Textile Design graduate with thoroughly developed design skills and experience in teaching art and design processes.

I have thoroughly enjoyed teaching Art lessons to children across KS1 and KS2 as well as delivering Textile Design workshops for both children and adults. With a calm and patient nature I will take time to get to know you and your individual needs and wants from tutoring as well as encouraging you with my enthusiasm for the art and textile practises. Additionally, I have experience working with children with additional needs, such as ADHD and ASD, and feel passionate about utilising my knowledge and experience here to support all individuals to thrive.

Depending on your wants from your tutoring sessions, I will plan out a structured plan that enables us to cover each part of your project in proficient depth and detail - whilst assisting you with planning and organisational skills to apply to future projects. I can assist with contextual research for art/textile projects; practical painting, drawing, and textile design techniques; support for your ideas and help to develop your own refined style.

Whether you have a specific project you would like some help and guidance on or are looking to expand general art and design skills, I am excited to offer my knowledge and experience to assist you.

I am open for online or in person sessions (depending on location) and look forward to supporting you through tutoring.
