As a one-to-one private Maths tutor, I tailor every lesson to the individual needs, ability, and learning style of each student. My lessons are engaging, supportive, and designed to help children build confidence while developing a strong understanding of key mathematical concepts.
Lessons include explanations, worked examples, interactive activities, practice questions, and regular review to reinforce learning.
Each lesson begins with a review of previous learning, followed by clear explanations of new concepts using simple, easy-to-understand methods. I use a variety of teaching techniques, including worked examples, visual resources, interactive activities, problem-solving tasks, and real-life examples to make Maths enjoyable and meaningful. Students then complete guided and independent practice, allowing me to assess their understanding and provide immediate feedback.I also provide support with schoolwork, homework and test preparation.
I maintain regular communication with parents to discuss progress, celebrate achievements, and identify areas for further development.
My goal is to help every student gain confidence, improve their skills, and achieve their full potential in a positive and motivating learning environment.
