Marina Reynolds

I’m Marina and I’ve been working as a HLTA in the school setting for 15+ years. I have experience of working with secondary students from year 7 up to GCSE (11 years) and more recently in a Primary provision for years 1 to 6 (4 years) supporting students with SEMH, various SEN and EFL to access the curriculum. I am also a private GCSE math tutor and EFL tutor of two years. I have a lot of experience of scaffolding topics and of adapting teaching so that core concepts can be more easily understood. I’ve found that a calm and nurturing approach is the most effective and can make learning fun rather than stressful. My approach is relational as in my experience this approach brings out the best in students.
