A native Russian speaker with 3 years of experience teaching online private Russian lessons to teenagers and children, preparing students for GCSE exams and helping them develop communication skills and improve their grammar.
All my lessons are conducted online and are carefully planned to be interactive, effective, and engaging. I tailor each lesson to the student’s level, age, and learning goals. Before starting, I assess the student’s abilities and discuss their objectives, whether they want to improve speaking skills, strengthen grammar, prepare for exams, or feel more confident using Russian in everyday situations.
My online lessons follow a clear structure and include grammar explanation, vocabulary development, reading, listening, and plenty of speaking practice. I explain grammar in a simple and clear way, using examples and visual materials shared on screen. I actively encourage students to speak during the lesson and help them overcome language barriers and gain confidence in communication.
I use a variety of online resources such as digital textbooks, worksheets, presentations, audio and video materials, and interactive exercises. For younger learners, I include games, visuals, and short activities to keep them focused and motivated in an online environment. For GCSE students, I focus on exam requirements, typical tasks, writing and speaking practice, and exam techniques.
My teaching approach is patient, supportive, and student-centered. I aim to create a comfortable and positive online learning atmosphere where students feel confident, motivated, and supported while making steady progress in learning Russian
