My initial teaching experience, though brief, proved to be a profound learning opportunity. Working with a small group of students at a child protection agency, I observed lessons and led activities, gaining valuable insights into classroom dynamics and individual student needs. My confidence grew with each session, as I learned to create a comfortable learning environment and foster positive relationships with the students. One of the most important lessons I learned was the power of positive reinforcement and encouragement. I realized that building trust and rapport with students is crucial for effective teaching and learning. The experience highlighted the importance of being adaptable and finding creative ways to engage students, making learning enjoyable and impactful.
