Marianna

Hi! My name is Marianna Christodoulou and I am currently a student at the University of Nottingham. I study Finance, Accounting and Management however I have had a passion for English from a young age. I achieved a 9 in English Literature GCSE, an 8 in English Language GCSE and an A in English literature A-Level. After remotely tutoring A-Level Psychology for 2 years, my knowledge of teaching has developed and my flexibility allows me to adapt my tutoring to best suit the needs of my students. As well as voluntarily teaching in a special needs school, I also assisted in a GCSE Maths class during sixth form, cultivating close-working relationships with students and helping teachers with lesson plan development. I have always had a devotion towards education, a good education is a foundation for a better future.
My lessons will be based around the specification of the subject which is released by the exam board. My teaching offers high-quality PowerPoint presentations based on topics from the specification and subsequent exam questions which I give to my students as homework. We then go through their answers together to ensure the best possible marks are guaranteed. As well as strengthening their knowledge of the subject, I invite my students to develop their interpersonal and communication skills.
