My lessons are designed to make psychology engaging, easy to understand, and directly relevant to A-level exam success. As a psychology graduate with hands-on experience supporting students and working in educational settings, I bring both academic knowledge and practical insight into my teaching approach. Each lesson is tailored to suit the student’s individual learning style and goals whether it’s improving essay structure, mastering research methods, or strengthening evaluation and application skills.
I begin by assessing each student’s strengths, areas for improvement, and preferred learning methods. This helps me create personalised lesson plans that combine interactive discussions, visual materials, and real exam-style questions. I also use PowerPoint presentations, short videos, and case studies to help students connect theory with real-world examples making complex psychological concepts easier to grasp and remember.
My lessons often include exam practice and feedback sessions where students can learn how to approach different question types effectively, manage time, and structure their answers using clear, concise evaluation points. I also focus on developing critical thinking and analytical skills, which are essential not only for exams but for understanding psychology beyond the textbook.
Throughout the lessons, I maintain a supportive and encouraging environment. I believe students learn best when they feel confident, understood, and motivated. My teaching style is friendly yet structured I aim to challenge students while also celebrating their progress. By the end of our sessions, students not only feel more prepared for their exams but also gain a genuine appreciation for psychology as a subject.
