I have been teaching English for more than 20 years. My degree is authorised by the Greek goverment, while my TEFL/TESOL degree allows me to taech English globally which I find very interesting. My areas of experties include Cambridge and Michigan exam preparation, Conversational English and Business English. I use a variety of teaching methods. Some of them are : flashcards, miming, videos, TPR, realia, discussions on a variety of topics, videos, grammar power points, dialogue practice and of course lots of games especially with the younger lerners, as I believe that learning can be and should be fun! I use the above methods and more while taking under consideration the target of the lesson, the age and the special needs of the students. I have helped university students with their projects as well as adults who wanted to develop their English skills,while focusing on specific vocabulary. Also, I create personalised lessons and tasks so as to suit each student's needs. As a teacher, I am patient and creative as I always try to find engaging teaching methods. By the time, you will realise that I am trustworthy which will help a lot to build a relationship of trust between us. Eventually, as we get to know eachother, the atmosphere in the lesson turns to be more friendly, so the lessons run smoothly and we all leave the classroom with a smile on our faces. My goal is your SUCCESS! I am extremelly happy when I see my students developing as individuals and gaining their goals; this is my reward.
