Hi, I'm a native Russian speaker with a background in English, so I can explain Russian clearly and simply, from the trickiest grammar (yes, including that mysterious letter ‘?’) to the way people actually talk in everyday life.
I believe the best way to learn a language is to use it, so my lessons are built around conversation. We'll speak from the very first lesson, and you don't need to worry about making mistakes. They're a normal part of learning, and I'll help you notice them and improve without any pressure.
I like to keep lessons varied and fun. Depending on what you enjoy, we can watch short scenes from Russian TV series and talk about them, listen to music, play language games or practise real situations like ordering food, making small talk or travelling. It's a great way to pick up natural expressions, improve your listening and learn a bit about Russian culture along the way.
Every lesson is tailored to you. With beginners, I focus on pronunciation, useful vocabulary and the basics of grammar. With more advanced students, we work on fluency, a wider vocabulary and sounding more natural in conversation.
