Since I had boring teachers in school, I promised myself and my students never to be boring! I am very good at answering grammar and vocabulary questions. However, I strongly believe that learning another language means using it in meaningful ways. Doing grammar lessons with random sentences is particularly bad. I believe in communication, in finding the words to say what you want to say. That's how to learn another language. Humor is a big part of my lessons. Students gain confidence when they realize something is funny in another language. So, I try to be funny and I always try to have my students do most of the talking.
