The type of lessons I want to teach are clear and highly formative. Providing students with easy to digest information on the chosen topic at hand.
Being open and approachable to any questioning, however big or small.
Apart of my teaching plan, will be to meet students at the level they are currently studying at, encouraging them and supporting in growth and development.
Being very patient and considerate about different abilities, creating individual action plans tailored to specific students needs.
By identifying key areas of improvement, in order to build a foundation for future lessons.
My main teaching and supporting experience is within my university, I work as a student ambassador helping support foreign students in written and spoken English. Also assisting in checking text, converted from other languages into English.
I have three children who all study, this adds another layer to my teaching skills as I support them daily, ages ranging from primary school up to college.
If there are any students needing help by way of tutoring, I will go above and beyond to give the best possible assistance.
As this would be my first official teaching job, there will also be a chance for me to learn and strengthen my skills which will then have a ripple affect on others around me.
I understand the importance of learning, from experience I have personally help develop others to achieve higher levels of English.
I hope I can be of similar help to others in the future, and provide students with a professional service.
