I have experience tutoring mathematics and English but a keen interest in tutoring/teaching the sciences too.
Studying a degree in Chemistry with Mathematics, I would be comfortable teaching the physical sciences (physics, chemistry and mathematics) to a high level (A-Level+) including preparation for university admissions.
A key focus of lessons would be on student-tutor interaction, finding weak points and reinforcing them with learning and practice.
Another essential part of any learning experience is the ability to develop a toolkit of learning and revising techniques. I would offer (based on my experience) to pass these on.
Regarding my qualifications, I am a final year Chemistry with Mathematics student at UCL. I finished first year with a high average of a first and in both first and second year got a high first in all mathematic modules.
I obtained A-Levels in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry with the grades A*AAA respectively.
For GCSEs I got 10 grades of 7-9.
