I have experience teaching and supporting learners across a wide range of ages and abilities, particularly in Mathematics. With a strong academic background, including an MPhil in Mathematics, I am confident in delivering lessons from foundational numeracy to higher-level mathematical concepts. I have supported learners who require additional guidance as well as those who benefit from academic challenge, ensuring that each student progresses according to their ability. My experience has strengthened my ability to plan structured lessons, assess understanding effectively, and adapt teaching strategies where necessary.

As a teacher, I am patient, organised, and approachable, creating a positive and respectful learning environment. I place high importance on inclusivity and believe that every learner can succeed when given the right support and encouragement. I am reflective in my practice and committed to continuous professional development to improve my teaching skills. Strong communication, consistency, and calm behaviour management are key qualities I bring to the classroom.

My teaching methodology is learner-centred and structured. I break complex concepts into clear, step-by-step explanations and use real-life examples to make learning meaningful. I employ questioning techniques, guided practice, and regular formative assessment to monitor progress and address misconceptions promptly. Lessons are differentiated to meet individual learning needs, with appropriate support and challenge provided. My aim is to build confidence, develop problem-solving skills, and foster a positive attitude towards mathematics and lifelong learning.
