Maleek Elmahdi

I am a Maths and Arabic tutor who focuses on making subjects clear, structured, and easy to understand. As a current A-Level student studying Mathematics and Further Mathematics, alongside being a native Arabic speaker, I bring both strong academic knowledge and real-world language fluency to my teaching.

For Maths, I help students break down difficult topics into simple steps and focus on understanding the logic behind methods, not just memorising them. My lessons involve clear explanations, guided practice, and exam-style questions to build confidence and improve performance. I have a strong track record in Maths, including being a Ritangle Finalist, achieving three Silver awards in the Intermediate Mathematical Challenge and a Silver in the Senior Mathematical Challenge.

For Arabic, I combine my academic background — including achieving 274/280 in GCSE Arabic (highest in my year) and attending Arabic school for nine years — with my everyday fluency as a native speaker. I help students with reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the language in a natural and practical way.

I also have tutoring experience through helping my younger brother, where I saw clear improvements in both his confidence and school performance.

My lessons are relaxed but focused, and I always adapt to the student’s level and goals. Whether it’s improving grades, building confidence, or mastering a subject from the basics, I aim to make learning effective and enjoyable.
