In my lessons, you can expect a friendly, structured, and highly interactive approach. I believe learning English should be both practical and enjoyable, so I design each class to match your personal goals, learning style, and interests. We’ll work on all four key skills – speaking, listening, reading, and writing – while also building your vocabulary, grammar knowledge, and confidence.
With over 20 years of teaching experience, I have worked with students of all ages and levels, from complete beginners to advanced learners. I am CELTA-qualified and hold a PhD in Social Communication, which means I can guide you not only through everyday English but also through academic writing, professional communication, and subject-specific vocabulary.
My lesson formats vary depending on your needs. We might start with a short discussion or warm-up activity, then focus on a key language point using authentic materials such as news articles, videos, or podcasts. We will practise through role-plays, problem-solving activities, and guided conversations, and finish with feedback and tips for independent practice.
I especially enjoy helping students prepare for academic or professional challenges – whether that’s writing essays, giving presentations, or preparing for exams and job interviews.
My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and goal-oriented. I always aim to create a safe space where you feel comfortable making mistakes and learning from them. By the end of each lesson, you will leave with practical skills you can immediately apply in real-life situations.
Let’s start your journey to confident English together!
