My lessons would mainly focus on GCSE English. I studied Macbeth, A Christmas Carol, Inspector calls and Power and Conflict poetry at GCSE. I also studied Macbeth, Handmaid’s Tale, The Great Gatsby, A Streetcar Named Desire and Love through the ages poetry as part of my A Level studies. I still have all my annotated books and poetry books along with past papers that I have had marked by teachers. I am able to provide your child critical analysis, useful websites and my own personal past papers and notes to better their understanding of each book/poems. I further can help your child with how to write an answer focusing on what you should include to obtain a high grade. In GCSE especially I understand that the 40 marker including your own written story or description can be quite daunting so I’ll further provide your child with tips on how to not be scared of this section and how to push through to pick up the marks that examiners will look for. Basically anything specific that your child may need an extra helping hand with, I am more than happy to help! Sometimes it’s easier to learn from a past student who has been in the same position as you or your child. It’s difficult to pick up every aspect of a book or what you need to include in your exam papers to achieve the best grades possible and that is exactly what I am here to do for your you or your child! I am also negotiable on price (just put a price in for now but it is not fixed!)
