Mahmoud Zahaby

Hello, and thank you for taking the time to read through my personal biography/introduction.
I was born and raised in Ottawa, Canada and I pride myself on my love for the outdoors, my appreciation for nature, and my passion to help people in any way I can. Throughout my twenties, I maintained an active/sportive lifestyle, and near the end of my twenties, I truly started to enjoy my ability to teach the importance of physical exercise (particularly weightlifting) to friends, and acquaintances.
I had also been involved with running a boxing class during the summer of 2018, and had officially volunteered to coach youth with the Ottawa Lions club during University.

My method of teaching entails having dynamic discussions that allow you (the student) to actively demonstrate and work on your current skills, while simultaneously giving me (the tutour) an idea on your current English level. I also enjoy getting to know more about my students, and what motivations and aspirations they have.
I also prefer to cater to my students' needs, focusing on turning their weaknesses into strengths through repetition and drills in a fun, and interactive environment. Although I am still building my foundations as a teacher, I have had experience tutouring immigrants, particularly with grammar, pronunciation, and vocabulary.
I am a kind, flexible and interactive person who translates these qualities into teaching, and I genuinely enjoy helping people in their academic journeys.
