With over 20 years of tutoring experience and 17 years as a qualified secondary maths teacher, I offer lessons that are structured, engaging, and fully tailored to each pupil’s individual needs.

Lessons typically begin with a quick recap to reinforce previous learning and identify any gaps. From there, we move into new content, which I explain clearly and step by step. I encourage pupils to ask questions at any point—building understanding and confidence is always the priority.

Whether preparing for school exams, boosting day-to-day confidence, or focusing on 11+ preparation, each session includes a mix of explanation, guided practice, and independent problem-solving. I regularly use past paper questions and diagnostic assessments to track progress and adjust the pace and focus accordingly.

Pupils often tell me they leave lessons feeling clearer, more confident, and more motivated. My goal is not only to help pupils succeed in Maths, but to develop the self-belief and self confidence.
