What makes my teaching unique is that I am an official examiner for IBDP Physics, Cambridge International A Level Physics, and Pearson Edexcel International A Level Physics. This rare combination allows me to teach not only the syllabus but also how examiners assess answers, where students commonly lose marks, and what distinguishes high-scoring responses.
Every lesson is tailored to the student's individual needs. I begin by identifying areas of weakness before developing a personalised learning plan. My lessons are highly interactive and make extensive use of digital whiteboards, animations, simulations, real-world applications, and carefully selected exam questions to develop deep conceptual understanding. Rather than encouraging memorisation, I teach students how to think logically, solve problems systematically, and apply concepts confidently to unfamiliar situations.
Exam preparation is integrated into every lesson. Students learn effective problem-solving techniques, examiner expectations, question analysis, time management, and proven strategies for maximising marks in assessments. For IBDP students, I also provide comprehensive guidance on Internal Assessments, drawing upon my experience of assessing more than 450 Physics IAs and over 50 Extended Essays.
