Maham Qureshi

Hey! I graduated from University of London and then started teaching mathematics as a subject for two consecutive years.
Later, moved to a new country which was a challenge. Being away from family and starting everything from scratch can be difficult. This decision resulted to a big gap in my teaching career. Life got busy settling in and up bringing my two beautiful children.
Now that they are 9 and 7, I decided to do CELTA certification. This degree helps me teach English as a language to my non-native students. Learning from this degree was a whole new experience. It has surely revived my passion of teaching with some new techniques and teaching styles. I have always enjoyed interacting with people and can manage to keep going even when language sometimes becomes a barrier.
Teaching on an online platform is what I enjoy doing.
Delivering effective language and skill lessons in the goal throughout the lesson.
Maximizing the space to be more of a student centered is what plays a major part in their learning.
Reflecting on key strengths and weakness and then using them to develop teaching skills.
Motivating the learners to participate frequently makes them a confident student.
Creating a good rapport with students leads to a friendly yet comfortable environment.
Focusing on the students individually and helping them with constant feedback and evaluation is the purpose.
Looking forward to connect with some amazing learners out there. A place where we all can benefit from learning from each other
