I am an artist and educator with experience spanning over eight years in teaching, mentorship, and creative facilitation across Pakistan and the UK. I recently moved to London to pursue my MA in Fine Art at the University of East London, where I also work as a teaching assistant supporting Foundation Year students in developing their ideas, visual communication, and critical thinking. My background in fine art allows me to approach teaching with a strong focus on clarity, expression, and the importance of language in shaping understanding.
In Pakistan, I taught A-Level Art for several years alongside my studies, where I developed lesson planning skills, classroom management experience, and the ability to adapt teaching methods for different learning styles. I regularly worked one-to-one with students to improve written analysis, articulation of ideas, and confidence in presenting their work, which strengthened my ability to support language development through structured guidance and encouragement.
My professional experience with organisations such as the Karachi Biennale Trust and Vasl Artists’ Association further developed my communication skills.
