I begin by assessing the student’s current level to identify strengths and areas for improvement, then create a clear, personalised plan covering key 11+ topics such as Maths, English (including comprehension, vocabulary, and creative writing).
Lessons are interactive and supportive, with clear explanations, guided practice, and exam-style questions to build confidence and accuracy. I focus strongly on exam technique, time management, and problem-solving strategies, helping students approach the 11+ with confidence rather than pressure.
With experience supporting students of different abilities, I adapt my teaching pace to suit each learner and provide regular feedback and practice tasks to track progress. My aim is not only to prepare students for the 11+ exam, but to help them develop strong foundations and a positive attitude towards learning.
