My lessons are calm, supportive, and fully tailored to each student’s individual needs, goals, and learning style. The main focus is to create a safe and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable speaking, asking questions, and making mistakes as part of the learning process. Building confidence is always at the centre of my teaching approach.

Sessions are structured but flexible, depending on what the student needs on the day. A typical lesson may include conversation practice, vocabulary development, guided speaking activities, and practical exercises to improve fluency and communication. For students who need additional support, lessons can also include study skills, organisation strategies, goal-setting, and techniques to improve focus and motivation.

With experience teaching children, teenagers, and adults in both classroom and online settings, I adapt my methods to suit different ages, personalities, and levels of confidence. I have worked with complete beginners as well as more advanced learners, always adjusting the pace and content to ensure progress feels achievable and motivating.

Lessons are interactive and engaging, often using real-life topics and personalised materials to make learning relevant and practical. I also place strong emphasis on encouragement, positive feedback, and helping students recognise their progress over time.
