Hello! My name is Mae. I have obtained my MSc Mathematical Physics at the University of Edinburgh, and will begin studying for a PhD in Theoretical Physics in autumn. While I love learning more and more as I carry out my research, teaching is important to me. Physics and mathematics are fascinating topics, and more than that, they are for everyone. Whether you want to pass an exam or understand more of the world around you, I am here to help! I, too, have wanted to cry (or even did) while sitting in front of an exercise I could not understand; I know how to get out of there!
My approach to tutoring goes as follows: first, we look at any problem you might have in mathematics or physics. We discuss it, and I will explain and illustrate why and how it works. Then, once you feel comfortable with the topic we discussed, we tackle the formulas and practice applying them.
I have experience tutoring at all levels, ranging from primary school to BSc Physics. You don't need to be a student to want to learn about physics and mathematics, so whichever goal you have, we can discuss it and see how to best attain it!
