In each lesson, we will focus on a specific topic area that you are struggling with or would like to understand better. We'll start by taking a look at work that you have done recently, either in class or as homework, and identify where you are having difficulties. From there, we will spend the lesson going through a small number of exercises that I provide in detail to cement your understanding of that topic.

The goal is for you to understand not only how to do questions in that topic area in the future, but to understand why you are reaching the answers that you are. I feel that this is really important so that students feel they have a grasp on the subject of Maths as a whole, and aren't just plugging numbers into a calculator.

The exercises that I use are often taken from the Edexcel exam materials, but I also create some of my own problems to push students towards that more theoretical understanding. I also am a big fan of using visual aids, and use the free online whiteboard software Miro to do this. Lessons will be held over Microsoft Teams if possible.
