My main method of teaching is active recall and discussion. I will provide new information for you to digest and ask you questions about it, allowing our discussion to become more nuanced. At the end of each session I ask students to summarise our findings so that conclusions can be easily remembered and accessed in the long term memory.
I have experience tutoring GCSE and A-level students for 2 years, helping them achieve their personal goals and even pushing them further than they thought they could achieve. A massive part of learning is confidence and the knowledge that failure helps redirect our attention to content deficits; it is my role to help develop both of these skills for you.
