I am a dedicated and approachable tutor with a passion for helping GCSE and A-Level students succeed in English, History, and Sociology. My teaching style is supportive, structured, and tailored to each student’s individual learning needs, ensuring lessons are both engaging and confidence-building. I believe students learn best in a calm, encouraging environment where they feel comfortable asking questions, exploring ideas, and developing independent thinking skills.

In my lessons, I focus not only on improving subject knowledge but also on building the exam techniques and analytical skills required to achieve top grades. For English, I help students develop strong essay writing, critical analysis, and interpretation skills, while also improving confidence in reading and written communication. In History and Sociology, I encourage students to think critically, evaluate evidence, and construct clear, well-argued responses using structured techniques that align closely with exam board expectations.

My sessions are interactive and student-centred, combining discussion, guided practice, and targeted feedback to keep learners motivated and actively involved. I use a range of resources including past papers, revision activities, model answers, and personalised study strategies to support progress both inside and outside of lessons. I also understand the pressures students can face during GCSEs and A-Levels, so I aim to create a positive and reassuring atmosphere that reduces anxiety while maintaining high expectations. This will allow the student to revive the most out of their tutoring experience.


Ultimately, my goal is to help students feel confident, capable, and fully prepared to reach their academic potential while developing skills that will benefit them beyond their exams.
