Before starting lessons with Lynsey, I had never taken art as a subject and was genuinely scared to paint. From the first class, she brought a fresh, exciting perspective to art that made it feel fun and inspiring. Lynsey is incredibly experienced—not just in all artistic mediums, but also in art history, culture, and life itself. Her passion is infectious, and she helped me grow in confidence and skill. By the end of the course, painting became my favorite thing to do—the bigger the canvas, the better! I achieved an A and, more importantly, a love for art that’s led me to pursue it in higher education. Lynsey helped shape who I am today, both as an artist and as a person. She goes beyond teaching technique—she teaches you to think, feel, and see like an artist. I couldn’t recommend her more. She’s the best teacher I could have asked for, and I’m forever grateful for the impact she’s had on my journey.
