Lynn Christo-Jugmohan

I am a Caribbean teacher for over 26 years experience in primary and secondary schools. My lessons are student-centred with a focus on making learning fun, interesting and applicable to real life.

I encourage student participation in lessons and do everything I can to make the student comfortable in class. Students become empowered to take charge of their education and career paths with guidance, coaching and mentorship from me.

As an island teacher who is very passionate about character building in students, I take my role very seriously to ensure that all my students leave my classes confident of the subject matter and more well-rounded as individuals ready to face society and the world.

I work at the pace of the student and frequently seek feedback from the lesson before moving on. For me, teaching is both a personal and professional experience, therefore, my students are esteemed with such high regards as bringing value to the table, and not only taking lessons from the teacher.

Having taught mainly physical lessons, I have also taught some hybrid and online for some years. With online classes, I usually use platforms like Zoom or Teams.

My students find me down to earth with them, reliable, trustworthy and understanding. One of my mantras is that 'Not only can every child learn, but every child can excel and become the best version of themselves with the right guidance and motivation.
