Online tutoring lessons with power points and practical tasks. I am fully adaptable to a students needs and learning style. I have been tutoring for a year as well as teaching in a school for 3.I have experience teaching EAL - english as an additional language- as well as SEN from children to adults. I am happy to create practical lessons with learning resources such as blocks or counters as well as understanding some people work better from creating notes and flash cards. I am happy to help build language and knowledge that can be applied in school or helping to revise for upcoming exams and create revision resources. I teach my lessons online via a power point with key vocabulary and pictures and learning models. I use a dyslexia friendly font and formal for all my lessons and simplify my vocabulary and knowledge input based on the type of learner the lesson is for.I am friendly and easy to work with and pride myself on my patience and flexibility during my lessons as everyone needs different amounts of time to process things and being adaptable in situations helps ease my learners worries. In my job I work with SEN children and teach the curriculum in an adaptive way as well as proving interventions for Speech and Language therapy, Social and Emotional Mental Health, English as an Additional Language and many other types of intervention that are unique to the child and their needs and I carry this approach into my tutoring to ensure a happy learner.
