My maths lessons are friendly, interactive, and personalised to meet each child’s learning needs. I teach Early Years and Year 1 to Year 4 pupils, helping them build strong foundations, confidence, and a positive attitude towards maths.

With over 15 years of teaching experience, I understand that every child learns differently. I use visual models, practical activities, games, real-life examples, and simple explanations to make mathematical concepts easier to understand.

Each lesson begins by reviewing previous learning, introducing new concepts step by step, practising together, and allowing the learner to apply their knowledge independently. I encourage children to explain their thinking, ask questions, and develop problem-solving skills rather than memorising methods.

My lessons cover key areas such as number sense, place value, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, shapes, measurement, and problem-solving. I adapt activities to suit the learner’s pace, level, and confidence.

My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where children feel comfortable making mistakes, developing their skills, and enjoying maths. I believe that with the right guidance and encouragement, every child can become confident in mathematics.
