My lessons are supportive, structured, and tailored to each student’s individual learning style and goals. Sessions are delivered online through Microsoft Teams, creating a flexible and comfortable learning environment where students can ask questions openly and build confidence at their own pace.
Lessons can focus on understanding psychological theories, essay writing, assignment support, revision strategies, research methods, or improving academic confidence. I break complex topics down into manageable explanations and use discussion, examples, and collaborative learning techniques to help students fully understand the material rather than simply memorising it.
In addition to online sessions, I can also offer in-person lessons depending on location and travel distance. I am happy to commute to suitable locations where required, allowing students to choose the learning environment that works best for them. For online teaching, I can use screen sharing, PowerPoint presentations, essay walkthroughs, and collaborative exercises to keep sessions engaging and organised.
Alongside my BSc Psychology degree, I am currently completing a Master’s in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy, giving me both academic knowledge and practical experience supporting young people and adults. My goal is not only to improve understanding and grades, but also to help students become more confident, motivated, and independent learners over time.
I also understand that students can sometimes feel overwhelmed or anxious about their studies, particularly around exams or assignments. I aim to provide a calm, encouraging approach that helps reduce stress while improving understanding and organisation. Lessons can be adapted for different learning speeds, ensuring students feel supported throughout their academic progress.
