I am a multidisciplinary fashion designer, textile artist, and Senior Lecturer with over ten years of experience across industry and higher education. I founded my own womenswear label and presented full seasonal collections during London Fashion Week with the support of On|Off and the British Fashion Council. My design practice explores material storytelling, surface innovation, and contemporary approaches to silhouette and construction.
My research has taken me internationally, including three research trips to work with the Gee’s Bend Quiltmakers in Alabama and textile communities on Native American reservations. I have also participated in an art residency in Guatemala, where I expanded my practice through community-based textile research and material experimentation. My work investigates how textiles communicate identity, resilience, and cultural narrative.
Alongside my professional practice, I teach across leading institutions. I am Year 3 Lead Tutor in Fashion and Textile Design at Middlesex University and teach on MA Textiles at the Royal College of Art, BA Fashion Textiles at London College of Fashion, and at Central Saint Martins. I specialise in helping students develop a strong creative voice, refine technical skills, and build confident portfolios for university or industry.
I offer tailored support in fashion design and development, textile development, research methods, portfolio preparation, and critical feedback - helping students move from ideas to resolved, professional outcomes. I am proficcient in all technical aspects of fashionm design allowing me to have a full insight into the design process from concept to make to presentation.
