During the first lesson, I conduct a test to determine the student's level and discuss their goals and how they would like to learn the language. After that, I develop an individual programme for the most effective results. Lessons are conducted in a variety of formats - listening, reading, writing, speaking, and theory (grammar, rules, exceptions). I use presentations and other visual materials to facilitate memorisation. Homework assignments and feedback are also provided.
Depending on the age of the students and their language learning goals, the structure of the lesson also changes and is adapted to the individual.
Lessons are available for students of all ages, from young children to adults. I also have experience working with special educational needs, including students with ADHD, autism, speech impairments, and learning difficulties.
I work online, but I can travel to your home within a 10-mile radius of Egham. Lessons can be scheduled for one hour, two hours, or three hours. Depending on the students' preferences, homework assignments of varying difficulty are also provided. These can be simple tasks to reinforce theory or more complex ones to deepen understanding and reinforce material in different language situations.
It is also possible to work on additional areas, such as penmanship. Practical lessons and homework assignments are provided if necessary.
Group lessons are possible if students wish to practise the language with each other, provided there are two or more students interested.
