I have been teaching maths in secondary schools for 17 years and qs previously a head of department. I love watching my pupils grow in confidence and love for the subject. I plan bespoke lessons to meet the needs and level of understanding of the individual pupil. I have a wide variety of resources and, having taught and tutored through civil, I am adept at use of online resources and technology to support learning.

I can tutor pupils from year 6 to 13. I teach maths at KS3, 4 and A-Level plus level 3 further maths. I also teach GCSE statistics.

I am confident in teaching a full curriculum to pupils who are electively homeschooled and am happy to teach pupils in groups if they are at a similar maths level.

I have skills and experience teaching SEN students and can adapt my lesson according to the needs of my pupils.

For all my pupils there will be an initial free consultation online where I will establish your requirements and get to know the pupil a little better. This gives them a chance to get familiar with the format and decide if online tutoring is for them and if they are comfortable with me.

If you are considering maths tutoring for your child I understand how important it is to feel that you have someone competent but also someone your child is happy to engage with. I work hard to develop good working relationships with children and their families and listen to the requirements of the family. I care about my pupils' progress and do everything I can to assure they meet their goals.

Please note all the tutoring I offer is online. As well as being convenient for me and for you I also feel it helps pupils to received tutoring in their own comfortable environment with all the resources they need and for some SEN pupils in particular the ability to have the camera on/off cab progide some comfort and improve confidence. This does also mean I can tutor students at any location.
