As someone who struggled during lessons due to the environment of them and preferred to teach myself the information, I understand how learning can be tricky. My lessons will consist of rooting out what exactly you are finding difficult concerning your subject and breaking it down so it is easier to compute. I have been a guided reading mentor at my school, helping children who have struggled with literacy so I have experience with this. I also put a strong emphasis on quizzing and repetition as I believe this helps cement information in a students head and can be useful when it comes to things such as remembering quotations, characters or themes . My lessons are extremely adaptable and can be adapted to how long the student is available and how they prefer to learn.
