I have taught family friends' children English at the GCSE level and they achieved excellent grades through my tutoring while helping the individuals fulfill their potential and believe in their own abilities. Which I believe plays a large role in success.

I am patient and friendly, so it's a priority for me to get to know my students to build trust and familiarity with one another before going into studying. Being still a student myself I know how daunting finding a tutor can be especially for children, and my aim as a tutor is to ease them into an environment that feels nonjudgemental and a place to thrive.

I am currently studying for my BSc in sport science and anatomy after finishing my A levels, with English being my passion and subject to teach. I am a passionate tutor that loves to teach English literature, my particular interests are the classics, victorian literature, and poetry.

Regarding lesson plans, I don't overthink, yet my lessons are structured to a degree in the time frame given. I feel the best way for a student to learn is to not overload with a copious amount of information. I curate lessons that aim for open questions so we can discuss and communicate while building an understanding of the topic of concern, in a digestible way to learn. I am also still learning myself and always striving to improve my own methods.

I do have a keen interest in teaching English as a foreign language too and would be open to this.
