I like to make my lessons fun and engaging as I know it can be hard to concentrate for lengthy periods of time (especially online). In terms of lesson format, I will prepare PowerPoints for each lesson depending on the topic. Before diving into lessons I like to gauge the students learning style in order to find the best way to teach successfully. I have a TEFL certificate, a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature and Linguistics and have always had a passion for teaching. I am currently based in Thailand, teaching English to Thai students in a primary school and loving every moment of it! I have vast tutoring experience, tutoring GCSE and A-level English students during my time at university. Nothing made me more proud to see my students succeed- with most of them receiving grades A*-B in their English exams. Aswell as creating my own content for my students I have previous practice essays for both GCSE and A-level English Literature and Language as I believe using written examples is a fantastic way for students to learn, especially when developing their own writing style, how an essay flows and what key words and points they must mention in order be successful in their essays.
