Iam an experienced and formal English tutor who believes that anyone can speak multiple languages he wills, as longer as he is exposed in linguistics’ proactive activities ,reason why I constantly apply new language teaching methods to get the students engage and experimenting with new teaching tools to improve learning outcomes. I often apply two or three methods in a lesson according to the students’ needs/levels to guarantee that all them can reach the such day’s lesson specific aims . I usually get students helped by the following methods :
?Content and language integrated learning (CLIL)
?Cooperative Language Learning (CLL)
?The Direct Method.
?Audiolingualism.
?Total Physical Response.
?Communicative language teaching (CLT)
?Task-based language teaching (TBLT).
This may probably be unfamiliar for many tutors however it brings very good results, it includes small games, roll play, listening, writing, reading and speaking activities. As a teacher, I believe that all the lessons must be planned for the sake of the students goal (which is knowing English on the four skills) without depending on whether is online lesson on presencial. In conclusion, I’d say that both student and tutor play a very important role in this process, and both shall be committed in the same objective. A performance linguistically speaking, is a remarkable concept in my lessons, requiring to speak slowly , keeping things simple and giving clear instructions without using complicated words, nevertheless I will be increasing the language level gradually.
