I’m a BSc (Hons) Psychology graduate from the University of Southampton and currently work as a SEN Teaching Assistant. My approach to tutoring is always centred around the individual - every student learns differently, and I tailor each lesson to suit their needs, pace, and confidence levels.

Thanks to my training and experience in Special Educational Needs, I’m able to adapt my teaching style so that all students, including those who may need extra support, feel comfortable, encouraged, and engaged. I believe structure is key to learning, so my lessons follow a clear, friendly format. We’ll start by recapping previous work and chatting about what we’ll cover that day. I introduce new material in a simple, accessible way, using visual aids, examples, and practical explanations depending on what works best for you.

After learning the new content, we’ll go through practice questions together so you can apply what you’ve learned. At the end of each session, we’ll do a quick recap and I’ll give constructive, supportive feedback to help you understand your progress and what to focus on next. I also provide study materials to make revision easier.

Most of my lessons take place online via Microsoft Teams, but if you’re based in Hampshire, I’m more than happy to offer in-person sessions too. Our first session will be a relaxed conversation about your current knowledge, the topics you want to learn, and the study methods that suit you best - whether that’s mind maps, step-by-step notes, or interactive activities.

I aim to make every lesson engaging, comfortable, and confidence-boosting. You’re always encouraged to ask questions. Genuinely, no question is ever silly! My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and supported, and where learning feels rewarding and even fun.
