Maths has been my favourite subject since the start of doing my GCSE’s and it is very essential for the course I am studying at Swansea University; Aerospace Engineering. I have always been really keen and I would love the opportunity to help and support others in areas of difficulty. In my lessons you can expect an enthusiastic and motivating atmosphere which will make learning easier for the student. I am also able to introduce difficulty in the subject by preparing some challenging exam questions that I can walk through with the student if they are struggling. Each lesson will be structured in such a way to allow both teaching and also practice starting of with a quick 5 to 10 minute recap on the topic chosen by the student or from previous lesson to retain the knowledge efficiently, after that a clear teaching of the topic will be completed with some pauses to make sure the pupil is understanding fully the subject to add more complicity, and finally some exam questions and resources will be given to either walk through or do individually with a final mark/score at the end. I really hope to transmit the enthusiasm and love I have for this subject to allow the pupil to achieve success and confidence in the subject while also enjoying the lessons.
