I have held numerous roles as a teaching assistant and peer tutor during my undergraduate degree.

I take a relaxed approach to tutoring; a session would typically involve identifying misunderstandings, working through problems together, discussing motivations and intuition, re-deriving important results, and making important connections to other topics. The choice of what to emphasise is down to the student and their needs, and this can be advised and discussed prior to and during each session. It is helpful if students explain what they would like to work through beforehand to allow me to prepare.
