My lessons are structured but flexible. I start each session by understanding exactly where a student is struggling, then break the topic down into clear, manageable steps before moving to practice questions that build confidence. I use plenty of real-life examples from engineering to show why the maths works, not just how to get the right answer — this helps concepts stick rather than being memorised for a test. I'm patient, encouraging, and adapt my teaching style to each student, whether that means slowing down to rebuild fundamentals or pushing ahead with more challenging problems for stronger students. I cover everything from GCSE through A-Level maths, with particular strength in algebra, calculus, and mechanics.
My goal is simple: help students not just pass their exams, but genuinely understand and enjoy maths.
