I am a qualified and highly experienced Mathematics teacher with more than 10 years of dedicated teaching experience, during which I have supported and guided thousands of students from Year 6 to Year 11. Throughout my career, I have remained deeply committed to helping children overcome learning difficulties, build confidence, and achieve success in mathematics.

My teaching philosophy is based on the belief that every child can understand maths when it is taught in a clear, structured, and engaging manner. I specialise in breaking down complex and challenging mathematical concepts into simple, logical, and manageable steps, enabling students to approach problems with confidence rather than fear. I place strong emphasis on developing solid foundations, improving problem-solving skills, and encouraging logical thinking.

I am recognised for my patient, supportive, and student-centred approach. I take time to understand each learner’s individual strengths, weaknesses, and learning style, and I carefully tailor my lessons to meet their specific needs. In addition to concept teaching, I provide consistent support with school homework, topic revision, and exam preparation, ensuring continuity between tuition and classroom learning.

My GCSE preparation classes have a strong track record of proven results, with every student achieving improved grades, including high outcomes such as Grades 8 and 9. I focus on exam techniques, accuracy, time management, and understanding mark schemes, helping students maximise their performance and approach exams with confidence.

I also offer specialised support for IGCSE and GCSE Mathematics across major exam boards including Edexcel, Cambridge, AQA, and OCR. My in-depth familiarity with syllabus requirements and assessment formats allows me to prepare students thoroughly and strategically.
