My lessons are tailored to each student’s individual needs, goals and learning style. I believe students learn best when they feel supported and confident, so I create a positive environment where they can develop their skills at their own pace while still being challenged to make progress.

Each lesson is structured around clear objectives and combines explanation, guided practice and independent tasks. I adapt my approach depending on the student’s level, whether they are developing core reading and writing skills, preparing for exams or working towards higher grades.

Lessons can focus on English Language skills, reading comprehension, creative and analytical writing, essay structure, literary analysis and exam technique. For Literature students, I help develop confidence in analysing texts, exploring themes and selecting effective evidence. For Language students, I focus on improving accuracy, organisation and the ability to communicate ideas clearly.

Through my experience as a private tutor supporting students from KS1 to KS4, I have developed the ability to adapt resources and explanations for different ages and abilities. My aim is not only to improve academic performance but also to help students become more independent and confident in their English skills.

I make lessons interactive and personalised, ensuring students are actively involved in their learning and leave each session with a clearer understanding of the skills they are developing. I also encourage students to ask questions, reflect on their progress and develop strategies they can use independently beyond our lessons.
