What My Sessions Are Like
My sessions are calm, structured, and fully tailored to each learner. I begin with a warm check-in to help students settle and share how they’re feeling. This sets a positive tone and allows me to shape the session around their needs that day.

Lesson Format & Dynamics
I use a clear, consistent format that works for both children and adults:

Warm welcome: Builds trust, confidence and emotional safety.

Focused teaching: Step-by-step explanations matched to their level and learning style.

Engaging activities:

Fun, visual tasks for younger learners

Practical, structured tasks for teens and adults

Supportive guidance: Calm behaviour strategies, SEN-friendly approaches and steady encouragement.

Positive finish: A quick review so they leave feeling proud, motivated and aware of their progress.

My teaching style is patient, friendly and adaptable. I create a safe space where learners feel understood, supported and able to make real, meaningful progress at their own pace.

My Experience
I have extensive experience supporting individuals with SEN, behaviour needs and disabilities, working across both primary and secondary settings. I specialise in helping learners who benefit from structure, empathy and a calm, reassuring approach.

I have also been a Project Leader for St John Ambulance, teaching NHS Cadets aged 13–21. This strengthened my skills in communication, safeguarding, leadership and supporting young people with diverse needs. It also deepened my ability to motivate learners, build confidence, and create engaging sessions that feel purposeful, enjoyable and empowering
