As an international student myself, living in a foreign country could be sometimes scary, especially if your communication skills are not strong enough. My teaching skills are aimed to help pupils integrate the information, without having to memorise the definition word by word. This isn’t helping students gain more knowledge, but on the contrary, the information will eventually fade away after a period of time. I’m aiming towards an interactive, fun way, so the student will be satisfied with the results and improve its skills as we go forward with the lectures. We will firstly try on different ways of teaching until we will eventually find the right one. From interactive games to reading, I’m aiming to a better pronunciation and teach them how to use a more formal, academic language. As we go by and we’ll both see improvement, we will work on how to write his essay. The student will receive a feedback after each session and will be given homework until the next meeting, whenever both parties will agree to a schedule that would fit both of us.
