About me

I have been shooting and documenting my personal experiences with a camera since the 90s. The main reason for my love of photography is based around capturing the stories of the moment, be it for commercial enterprise or personal reward.
I have spent 25 years of my life working overseas, where the rich contrast of culture, architecture and daily life provided me with a massive range of visual stimulus and opportunities to develope my skills.
During a large portion of that time, I was responsible for training people in the hospitality sector, building confidence, mind-set and practical skills to hundreds of different students with varying levels of experience and knowledge. This exposure to such a wide range of locations, cultures and individuals has helped me apply a wide range of learning tools to fit nearly any situation. I am also a father of 2 and have raised both of my children as a single parent, so this also provides me a very hands-on approach to sharing information and providing guidance.

I have concentrated on honing my own photography skills and working with a wide range of subjects over the last 10 years, and am a recognised Nikon Affiliate. I have covered, weddings, social events, schools and general content creation for brands, as well as street photography and documentary pieces that have been published in print. I currently dedicate most of my photographic energy to the local skate scene and as an on call "Pit Shooter" for a host of bands and Music Events around the UK and Europe.
